About Princeton Tiger Lilies

The Princeton Tiger Lilies "PTL" is a USA Hockey registered, non-profit girls ice hockey club based in New Jersey, competing in the USA Hockey Atlantic District (AAHA).   PTL is an active member of the Mid-Atlantic Womens Hockey Association (MAWHA) fielding teams at the 12U, 14U, 16U and 19U levels.  We are a volunteer based organization with the sole mission of promoting and building "grass-roots" hockey for girls in the central New Jersey area.

Since 1992, PTL has fielded competitive tier 1 and tier 2 girls hockey travel teams at all age levels from U10 through U19.  Our home rink is Ice Land Skating Center in Hamilton, NJ.  We also skate out of nearby Princeton Day School (PDS) and Loucks Ice Arena at the Lawrenceville School.

Over the past two decades, PTL alumns have gone on to play competitive college ice hockey at top schools including Princeton, Harvard, Wisconsin, Boston College, Boston University, Wesleyan, Syracuse, Union College, Connecticut College, RPI, Robert Morris, Chatham College, Quinnipiac, Babson, U Conn, Neumann College, Penn State, Plymouth State and more.  Our alumn have competed at all levels of women's hockey including NCAA DIII, ACHA DI and D2, University Olympics and the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL).

PTL strives to offer the highest level of coaching available for our girls.  We continuously recruit and train new coaches.  Our goal is to provide female role models for our players at all levels and we have some of our alumni currently active with our teams.

PTL is actively pursuing both tier 1 and tier 2 for the 2019-20 season.  In partnership with the new ownership at Ice Land, we are promoting and contributing to the Learn to Skate, Learn to Play and In-House programs to help build a "ground-up" program and expand to offer U8 through U19 competitive girls hockey at the highest levels.
